Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Classmates are a more important influence than parents on a child's success in school. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. In today's world, in most of country, everybody must go to school to receive some basic educations. Although we spent more time accompanying with our classmates than our parents, nevertheless, actually parents have more influence than our classmates. The issue of problem solving and moral behavior illustrate why it is so. To begin with, the classmates in school come from different families, every level of the society. So the value judgment is definite different among us and classmates. Our classmates' opinions are sometimes useless for us, because we have totally different basic concept. When we face some problems in school, our parents' ideas might be the best answer for us. The reason is that our parent would think the problems more serious than our classmates and they know us more. Everybody would face an important problem what is your major in university. However your classmates' ideas are absolutely useless for you, because your background are different, your focus might be different. In that time, your parents will be your best consultants. Sometimes we would face some learning problems, but those are not only learning ability problems, those might be the mental problems. Those problems could cause some obstructions of your success in school, your parents would be the best doctors of those problem. In fact is that your parents would willing to spent more time taking care you, and give your some similar experiences which they ever had in their student period. Although we always define the success that is your grades, but actually how to solve those problems and obstructions is more important. If you could solve the problems, you also cannot attain the success. However our parents have more helps than our classmates. Additionally, our success in school shouldn't just focus on our grades, because our moral behaviors are more important. How to help a student developing to a well-behavior student is the most important duty of a school. However, we sometimes would be influenced by our classmates to do some immoral or inappropriate action, for example: drinking or smoking under the legal ages and skipping class. In this case, we would be far away the success of school; our classmates are harmful rather than helpful in our process of success. On the other hand, our parents always teach us what action is appropriate or nice, and they encourage us to do that. In most of time, our parents are really helpful for our actions and attitudes. They would give us appropriate advices in the appropriate timing. In conclusion, our classmates are not adequate to help us to attain success in the school; however, our parents are definitely able to give us nice advices and helps for our success. If we always only listen to our classmates' opinions and ideas, we would lose some really important advices and admonishments of our achievement. --
