4. Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. In my opinion, I don't agree with the statement at all. Theachers usually assign not only lots of homework but also deeply questions in the sametime. Although we all know that they do this is for our own good. However, it's not help our study the subjects even worse that the heavy assignments elimiate our interests, patients, and motivation to learn more. I well try to discuss this issue with support reasons and my own experience. First of all, I think that too much homework certainly reduce the time in playing with family, friends, and roomates. Although the study is very important for a student, but the quality of life, which means the time to play or to travel elsewhere, is also critical maybe it's more important than just writing down the boring formulas. Take me for example, when I was freshmen in the college, my physic teacher don't assign many homework to us and it's let me have more time to go outside with my friends like swiming or traveling. However, even I took a lot of time to play with my friends, I still finished the physic assignments perfectly. After that semaster, I got a high grade in physic and I also made lots of great memories with my friends. The second reason that I disagree with the statement is that too much homework every day will elimate the students' intersts to learn this subject. I think that the purpose of assignments is let students to familar what they were learning about. Students do homework daily make them exhaust and have no patient to find out what the truth is or why the formula doing so. In the end, they will escape from the subject just because there are too much homework that they can't handle with. For instance, I was very interested with the subject called "Operating System," but my teacher always assigned hard homework for us daily. My friends and I could not hanle with so we drow the class few weeks later. Finally, I think that assigning homework daily isn't necessary for a good teacher. In my point of view, a good teacher let the students easyily understand the subjects or the concepts in the class. The assignments is a tool to help students to review the class and to remeber what they were learning about. So the critical part is teaching in the class time not assigning homework daily. To sum up, the homework have functional purpose to students, but too many assignments will let the function going to the bad direction. I think that doing homework daily wastes lots of time. There are too many things is deserved to do, and I think that playing with family or friends is a good one. --
