Rome was not build in a day, we put this old saying as a way of thinking
into many aspects of life. Learning, definitely is not build in a day either.
I agree that teachers should assign homework to their students everyday,
because doing homework is a good way to keep students' passion on learning
and reinforcement on knowledge. There is one view I would like to expound.
We cannot assure that every student would enjoy working on daily homework
because laziness is natural, but at least students are to be pushed to have
improvement on their studies, and I think doing homeworks everyday is quite
comprehensible if the amount of them is proper.
Take me for an example. I asked my parents to hire a piano tutor for me
when I was a kid. After a period time of practicing, I felt tiring and wanted
to quit, somehow I still liked piano playing. If it were not for my parents
who kept me practicing everyday, I would never find out how much I am capable
of at piano later on.
As a conclusion, assigning homework everyday should be upheld, I believe
that students who had ever been pushd to apply themselves and have reached some
achievements in the future must be grateful for the hard works they had done.
