I oppose that adults should make important decisions for teeagers. If parents want their children to be surperior, they should make decisions themselves and be responsible for them. Suggestions rather than demands are more beneficial for kids. Adequate caring is necessary. Parents should play a role as friends of kids. Adults are much experienced. Thus, when the relationship between parents and kids remains harmonic, elders could offer valuable suggestions. These suggestions will be efficient only when the relationship is fine. On the opposite,if parents tend to take the control all the times, children, especially teens may not be willing to listen to them. However great their ideas are, children will not even think of them. Therefore, making choices for children is not a good way for them. Besides, learning itself is valuable, despite of the price to pay, and despite of what the outcome may be. Even if parents force their children to follow their instruction and succeed then, the success never belongs to the children. Next time something happens to the children, they don't know how to do still. It's quite dangerous and meaningless in the growth of kids. Parents should accompany with the teens, face with the difficulties, and encourage teens to make decision. After that, children could learn a lot in the face of the outcome. In short, parents and children should be friendly to each other.
