5. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Games are as
important for adults as they are for children. Use specific reasons
and examples to support your answer.
Based on the view of maintaining brain activity, I agree with
x that
games are as important for adults as they are for children.
Children playing games
is not mainly for fun, this behavior also
help
s them to develop their minds and body structures. As for animals,
such as little tigers, they play games in order to practice
preying skills,
which is quite
essential for living. Kids do the same, they learn things
from playing games. Games excite human brain activity. That little boys play
hide-and-seek little girls play
dress-up could lead children
to recognise their roles in the world.
Concerning adults, especially for
x the elderly, playing games stimulates
their brain to activate, which benefits in preventing
mental deterioration
diseases, such as Alz
heimer's and Dementia.
As for young adults, who are highly
active in thinking and
have
well-developed body structures, games can also be as substantial as they
are for children. Human brains need to be excited no matter how old a
person may be. Games help us to develop new nerve transducing pathway,
and thus help us advance our reaction rate towards various mundane tasks.
Besides, games can not only do our minds good, but also help us to relax
during the
x game time!
No matter how young or old a person may be, playing games is a healthy
activity for the purpose of maintaining our intelligence.
