If their children grow slowlier than others, they might have the question whether there are some physical problems on their children. For many years we have focused on children development. Recently our research aims at children heights and provides some reliable height-age data for children. Figure 1 http://www.pixnet.net/photo/hereafter/70978058 Figure 1 shows the clear height-age curve from age 0 to age 19. Obviously, the average height of boys was taller than that of girls until age 11.5. At the period between 11.5 and 13.5, girls led boys and then hardly increased their heights until age 19. This curve corresponded with the early evidence that girls' adolescence usually occured earlier than boys'. After age 14, boys still had a lof of potential in increasing their heights. However, due to the restriction of our research, there is no more evidence to show girls' heights might converge after age 19. This data were surveyed on 5,000 boys and 5,000 girls. They were chosen from five major cities in the country twenty years ago. Each year their heights as well as health conditions were fully recorded. --
