Nole: Thank you. It was a great first match. I mean, in Roland Garros,
I was being very cautious. Because I knew that De Bakker has quality,
has good serve. He can play well on the clay courts. And obviously,
Roland Garros has a bit faster clay courts. So it's more suitable to
his style of the games.
But you know I was really really serving well, and being very aggressive,
using every opportunity to step into the court. So I was quite in the
control of the match.
Q: Everybody is talking about your winning streak, about your chances here.
Is it difficult to keep your pressure away?
Nole: Pressure is always there. You know and, over the years, you know how to,
you learn how to deal with it. And, you have these necessary experiences
you are implementing after in your game, your life. And, I know there is
a lot of expection because the streak that I have. But, look, I am really
happy the way I am handling things right now, on and off the court.
Q: Just counting in your head or not?
Nole: I am not counting. (smile)
Q: What was the condition for you today regarding the surface, the new
balls, for example?

Nole: Uh, I was happy with the court. The balls obviously they are different
than any other tournaments that I've played on clay courts. But, I am
pretty satisfied with the way I was, getting used to the conditions.
As I said, for the first match it's really a good performance.
Q: Any special gifts for your birthday today, yesterday?
Nole: I received a lot of gifts from my family, and from close friends. They
were not here. So, yesterday we had a visit in the Serbian embassy as
well. It was a nice event. Not just me, but the whole group of tennis
players, men and women from Serbia. It was really nice. A lot of guests,
a lot of media representatives. It was nice to be a part of that.
I have to make it short because I have the match today.
