Both Nadal and Djokovic had contrasting results during the first half of the season where Nadal claimed two Grand Slams and three masters series crowns but Djokovic failed to win a title since his first and only triumph in Dubai this year where he successfully successfully defended the title. In the singles competition, Scot Andy Murray will make an attempt to defend his crown which he claimed last year by defeating Juan Martin Del Potro in the marathon final.
