标题[闲聊] Report: Bill Hall to sign on with Giants

刚刚在Rotoworld看到的
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that
the Giants will sign free agent
utility player Bill Hall.
With Freddy Sanchez going down with a separated shoulder Friday, the Giants
moved quickly to find someone that can help out at second base. Hall figures
to be the primary second baseman while Sanchez is out -- at least until Mike
Fontenot (groin) returns -- and then he can slide into a utility role.
He was
released by the Astros after batting only .224/.272/.340 in 46 games. The
Giants will have to pay Hall less than $300,000 of the remaining portion of
his $3 million salary, with the Astros picking up the rest of the tab.
