Francis ailing, Snyder away for loss
The Rockets' tendinitis problems have begun to spread.
With Tracy McGrady missing his third consecutive game with a sore left knee
on Monday, guard Steve Francis went out with bilateral quadriceps tendinitis.
Francis will not accompany the team today on the road trip to Boston and
Orlando.
Guard Kirk Snyder was also out against the Warriors to attend to a family
medical issue.

The changes to the inactive list moved forwards Steve Novak and Carl Landry
to the active roster, but coach Rick Adelman said he had been looking for
opportunities to play both lately.
Novak, who had not played this season, started the second quarter and played
19 minutes, scoring eight points with five rebounds.
"We want to give Carl and Steve a chance, get them on the floor and see what
they can do," Adelman said.
因此Adelman把Steve Novak和Carl Landry放到active roster里。

Familiar problem
A week earlier, the Rockets were not happy about having to play the second
half of a back-to-back with a 6 p.m. start after an eastbound flight from
Chicago to Detroit that cost them an hour with the time-zone change.
On Monday, the Warriors faced the same situation, flying from Denver after
Sunday's game.
Golden State coach Don Nelson said he tries not to worry about the schedule
but had a greater objection when the Warriors twice played noon Sunday games
after late games on a Friday in Oakland.
"I don't usually complain," Nelson said. "It's just kind of the way it is. It
will cost you a game occasionally. We had a bad one in Detroit. We played an
evening game and had a game in Detroit at noon. It was like a 9
o'clock-in-the-morning game for us. We had no chance in that game; it was
obvious. We kind of used it as a practice, had a 20-point loss and moved on."
Like Rick Adelman last week, Nelson said he would like the NBA to cut the
number of back-to-backs but doubted it was possible.
"If they could do it, they would," Nelson said. "They understand it's a
problem. A lot of people have complained over the years about it."
