"Today was a great day," McGrady said. "I participated in practice. I'll be able to go tomorrow. After experiencing tightness in his back late in Tuesday's game at Dallas and sitting out Wednesday at home against Phoenix, McGrady returned to workouts and pronounced himself fit. "I feel like I wasn't in pain," he said. "My back was really tight. All the minutes that I played in Dallas…But a little rest and it felt fine. We treated it a little bit and I'm ready to roll for Saturday. It's definitely not the problem (back spasms) that I have been dealing with." McGrady said that he's not concerned about his back giving out and sidelining him in the post-season. He also said if the game against Phoenix had been a playoff game, he probably would have played. "For the playoffs? Yeah, there are things that we could do," he said. "For temporary situations such as the playoffs, I'll be fine. There are things that you can do where I can go out and be healthy and playoffs through the whole playoffs. So, I'm not concerned about that." McGrady, averaging 22.8 points, has missed eight games this season due to his chronic back problems.
