Our trainers see Yao almost everyday and if there were signs of infection he should have been taking antibiotics for quite some time now. 我就不明白了﹐我们的训练师几乎每天看着姚明一有感染的迹象就吃抗生素一直到现 在。 球迷﹕I think they wanted to wait it out, and hoped it could heal somehow . I remembered to read some Chinese article about an post game interview. In the locker room, Yao put his foot into some container full of some kind of liquid medication, while doing interview. Funny how people were hating all over Yao when he's playing.... Every NBA team has very talented medical professionals that should know enough when to recommend when a player should see a specialist. How in hell could Yao - or T-Mac for that matter - go to a doctor that would tell him to "shut it down" when obviously the team that pays him millions is complacently treating the injury. This sort of thing happens every year. In some cases teams openly dispute "private" doctor's findings and brand the player lazy or weak (often anonymously through the press: remember Dream?) and have their doctors (the ones teams pay) to dispute the results. Right now I think the Rox organization may be feeling more desperate than many of us think, but I still don't understand why Yao has been playing on a badly infected toe. I don't care what kind of competitive spirit you have, when you sign a guy for the max over 6 yrs, you watch out for your investment. No way the Rockets would risk putting his future at risk when he hasn't even started earning his max contract yet. The odds of this becoming a chronic condition though slight, yet are possible. It never ceases to amaze me how some people here (not you) still draw any Shaq comparison possible. And I do completely agree with you that it was our staff that sent him home early. My contention is that it wasn't early enough. As you said, Yao's a huge investment but every Rox season is also. I didn 't see Yao limping around during the road trip and no mention has been made of his foot getting stomped on. It smells "fishy" to me, period. There were reports around summer that said a doctor removed one of his toe nail and he removed another himself. After awhile, he said he will not remove it himself again because the one he removed himself just won't heal. 他从中国回到训练营开始的。 有个报道说医生拿掉了他的一个脚趾甲﹐他自己拿掉了另一个。过了一阵子﹐他说他 不该自己拿掉它﹐因为自己拿掉的那个脚趾没有好好维护。 球迷﹕Yao is clearly a very intelligent young man. What the hell is he doing treating himself, if that was the case during the summer, and why weren' t doctors on top of all this? It's enough to boggle the mind. I know a lot of injuries are things a player just can't help, and that doctors do what they can, with things turning out well, or not. Frequently, the results are somewhere between lousy and ideal. The players learn to live with the results, or they have to hang it up. This sounds like something a teenager would do, and one who isn't worth millions, both to himself and to his team. How he could escape proper treatment for this is bizarre, and yet here he is, out for weeks, at best, and the alternative doesn't bear thinking about. Nothing gets by him. I guarantee you he has been watching Yao's toe and he made the decision that enough was enough and sent him home to have it fixed right when he saw that it wasn 't healing right. By the way, for all you guys that think Yao is a wimp. Dude removed his own toenail. Wimp.............not. A little lame brained ..........possible. But wimp???? Nope. The infected toe is the one that Yao removed the nail himself, and he commented later that it wasnt healing right. Should they have kept an eye on his condition? Probably....but if Yao tells him that he will be alright, and it doesnt hurt that much so he can continue playing...then what are they to do? 除了这件事什麽都很顺利。 感染的脚趾是姚明自己取掉的那只﹐後来他自己也说了没有进行处理。 他们（球队医护人员）就不知道看看他的情况吗﹖ 可能……姚明告诉他们没事﹐然後接着打球……他们都干什麽吃的﹖ -- 应该是想想火箭对於球员保护的问题的时候了... --
