啊啊，这篇是我头一次在这板上发文（除了自介文），请多指教。 因为最近社会上发生的事情，这首歌完全让我欲罢不能， 每天都大概听两三遍(早晚各一次)去了还不腻 Havok的这首Give Me Liberty...or Give Me Death 是针对美国政府的腐败以及过大的权力而写 虽然是在骂美国政府，但我不晓得为何我对这首歌有相当大共鸣... 好，下面就是翻译部分，请享用 --- Cut the rotting branches of government that stop The people from having meaning today 今天就把践踏人们意志的腐烂政府机关全砍掉吧 Stay out of my business and keep to yourself Got to do things my own way 少插手管我的事，管好你自己。 我要照我的意志行事 Minimizing freedom with your rules and regulations 用规则与法令尽可能地限缩我们的自由 A never-ending hunger to control Choking out the life of your own population Abusing the power you hold 用永远停不下来的控制欲望 绑架人们的生活 滥用你手中的权力 POWER – CONTROL 权力 控制 Give me liberty... Or give me death 给我自由，不然就让我死了吧 （此句即为「不自由，毋宁死」的原句，只是我觉得这句直接用在这有点怪） Death to our independence, death to those who fight 独立已死，抗争的人们已死 Death to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights 宪法与权利法案已死 Showing no regard for the way things ought to be 对於事情本该有的样子毫不关心 Stripping away rights from you and me 从你我的手中剥夺我们的权益 The founding fathers would be rolling in their graves If they could see what you are doing to this place 开国先驱们如果知道你们在这块土地上干了什麽好事 他们一定会气到从坟墓里跳出来 The next thing to go is our freedom of speech So I'll speak up while I still can and maximize my reach 下一个失去的是我们的言论自由 所以，在我还能自由的开口时，我要尽我所能的大声说出来 I find it hard to believe 我知道这很难相信 Some things are better left unsaid 有些事情不说可能会比较好 Is it the land of the free? 这里真的是自由的国度吗？ Democracy is dead 民主已死 "When the people fear the government there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty." 当人民恐惧政府，即为暴政；当政府恐惧人民，方有自由。 --
