该年，Stevie Wonder发表了极度重要专辑之一的《Songs in the Key of Life》，配
合慢版弦乐的〈Village Ghetto Land〉发人深省──「Ghetto」是投向美丽境界的远
景。未来的黑人同胞啊，你们要爱国、爱乡、爱自己！
七零年代中期後，爵士乐手转战灵魂与放克者尤甚，乐团Pleasure就是个好例子。
1976年，Pleasure与Delaney & Bonnie那张《Accept No Substitutes》撞名的专辑里，
收录的〈Ghettos of the Mind〉就是典型样版。这里也有比较组。1974年，Bama the
village poet在彷佛开了一场演说大会的《Ghettos of the Mind》专辑里，将强烈黑人
政治语言注入放克节奏，Pleasure的「同名音乐」倒是轻松很多。
