Silk was one of the hottest singing groups of the 90s, with their fantastic
group harmonies leading several chart-topping tracks. Now, after a few years
away, Silk returns today with Always and Forever, an album of covers of some
recent and not-so-recent soul hits performed with the impeccable harmonies
you'd expect from this veteran group.

网页大致上是说有非常多人都在做经典灵魂歌曲翻唱
Silk这张表现算是平平
翻作与原曲相较并无太特出之处
Silk的和声优美依旧
但制作水准不够
像是把原本曲子一个音符不差地重录一次
而主唱在诠释这些经典曲目上功力也嫌低了一截
总而言之这个乐评觉得Silk最好是能出他们自己的全新专辑而非唱唱口水歌
