On September 26, Gospo Centric (Sony/BMG) will release The Book of David: Vol. I The Transition, the first gospel effort from Dave Hollister, former member of the multi platinum selling R&B group, Blackstreet. This is not a traditional Gospel album. Producers Hollister, Mike City, Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell, PAJAM, Shep Crawford, Clubhouse, Jessie Wright, Reginald Lewis and Daniel Weatherspoon, offer up a mix of cutting-edge Gospel/R&B with a smattering of old school jams and soulful vocals. The Transition, takes a hard-hitting look at Hollister’s walk of faith during his tumultuous life and rise to fame. The artist/producer has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry but he decided to leave it all behind and make a change in his life. This album is the result of Hollister’s life-changing decision.
