Forming by way of Michael "Vegas" Harrison, the Harlem-born music producer who has written & produced records for the likes of R&B divas Zhane' to the Wu Tang Klan's Raekwon The Chef to Quincy Jones's pop protege Michael Fredo, the group was groomed with the type of artist development unseen since the days of Berry Gordy's Motown. "Their management, Mastermind, was very instrumental in that part...making sure practices & shows were just as important as our studio sessions." Vegas is quoted as saying. "I've been in the game long enough to know that talent only matters when the heart & desire is there to take it the rest of the way." And heart & desire is surely the fuel that drives these talented young men. Sule, Austin, Shai & Bouie have all been in the music game for years either individually or at times together trying to get their big break. "It takes years to put anything together that is going to last. Nothing or no one makes it overnight." Their upbringing in the Boys Choir of Harlem helped them understand the importance of unity. And more importantly harmony! Fortune's unique blend is key to their success on the music scene. But also growing in the streets is what really appeals to the women & youth of this generation.
