The current 5-year, $90 million offer is an improvement from the 3-year, $40 million the Giants offered during Spring Training. It is also the same deal that the Giants reached with Hunter Pence at the end of last season, and was reportedly what Sandoval’s agent asked extension talks to start at with the Giants last year.
