NEW YORK – The Boston Red Sox have asked permission to talk to Eric Gagne
and/or his representative, Scott Boras.
It would appear that the Red Sox and Texas Rangers are at least close to
a deal in principal. However, Gagne has been reluctant to leave the Rangers
as anything but a closer, and the Red Sox are not among the teams Gagne
agreed to be traded to when he signed with the Rangers last offseason.
It would seem that the only solution would be for the Red Sox to move
Jonathan Papelbon into a setup role and grant Gagne the ninth inning.

唯一的解决方法就是Papelbon去当SU............
我是认为Papelbon 当先发可能性比较大!!!!
