CBS charges $213,000 for a 30-second commercial on “Survivor”
this season, Advertising Age estimated this month, up slightly compared
with last year. Only two other CBS shows earn more, the trade publication
said, “Two and a Half Men” and “CSI.”
S17 的 30 秒广告费是 $213000美金 (6,000,000台币)﹐比上一季稍为调高。(涨价!?)
"Two and a Half Men" "CSI" 是唯一广告费赚得比 Survivor 高的节目。
Mr. Burnett and Mr. Probst have committed to the 19th and 20th seasons,
but CBS has ordered the series through only the 18th. Mr. Moonves said,
however, that he expected to order more. “It's not going away anytime soon,”
he said.
Jeff 和制作人已经达成协议会拍摄 S19 / S20。但 CBS 到目前为止只购买到 S18。
但他预期会继续购买下去。他说"这节目不会在短期内离开"
CBS would be foolish to let “Survivor” retire, at least until it comes up
with something that will deliver higher ratings in the time slot.
That something could well be a new reality program.

而且它的收视在同时段表现得非常好。
Forecasters have learned to be wary of betting against reality shows.
By 2005, “everyone had started saying ‘reality's had it,’ and then
‘Dancing With the Stars’ showed up,” said Ms. Brill, from Carat.
“Dancing,” on ABC, also has two seasons a year; it averages 18 million
viewers a night.
有人在 2005 年已经说实境节目的时代已经结束，但同年，"DWTS"出现，又带起了一个
新潮流。
