FIVE BLUES NOMINATED FOR FIFPRO TEAM

Five Chelsea men are among 13 Premier League players shortlisted for the
FIFPro World XI team today (Thursday).
English trio Ashley Cole, John Terry and Frank Lampard are all on the
list, the captain looking for his sixth appearance in the side in seven
years, while midfielder Lampard was named in the team in 2005, its
inaugural year.
Those three are joined by Didier Drogba, a 2007 FIFPro member, and new
nominee David Luiz, who has caught the eye since his arrival from Benfica
at the start of the year.
The nominees were voted on by the 50,000 professional footballers
belonging to the players' unions across the world that form FIFPro. The
final XI will be announced at the Fifa Ballon d'Or in Zurich on January 9,
2012.
The 55-player shortlist in full (home country, current club) is:
