标题[新闻] Real Madrid Want Fernando Gago To Stay

Spanish giants Real Madrid have assured Fernando Gago that he is very
much in their plans for the upcoming 2010-11 campaign.
Spanish sports daily Marca reports that the club's sporting director
Jorge Valdano met with the midfielder and his representative Marcelo
Lombillo earlier this week and assured them that the 24-year-old
will not be sold in the summer.
Gago arrived from Boca Juniors in the middle of the 2006-07 campaign
but hasn't been able to cement a regular place in the first-team.
Under Manuel Pellegrini last season, Gago struggled to feature
regularly for the Blancos and was reportedly keen for a move out
of the Bernabeu in January to secure his place in the Argentina
squad for the World Cup finals.
However, it's now been said that new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho
wants Gago to be part of his plans for the upcoming season.
