Gabriel Heinze has joined Spanish side Real Madrid on a four-year deal.
The 29-year-old, who on Tuesday was told by a Premier League arbitration
panel that he could not join Liverpool as he wished, has signed for an
undisclosed fee.
The La Liga club confirmed the move on their official website in a
statement that read:
"Real Madrid and Manchester United have reached
an agreement for the transfer of Gabriel Heinze.
"The Argentinian, 29, will sign a contract for the next four seasons
and will be immediately incorporated into Bernd Schuster's squad."

Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze has agreed to join Real Madrid.
A statement on the Real Madrid website confirmed the two clubs had agreed
a fee and Heinze will sign a four-year contract with the Spanish champions.
The Argentine had his heart set on a move to Liverpool and took his case
to a Premier League tribunal after United refused to sell him to their
rivals.
But after a League panel ruled against Heinze, the 29-year-old agreed to
join Real for a reported ￡8m fee.
