CF Desmond Jennings ended up on the disabled list late Monday when what the
Rays initially called a sprain of his left middle finger turned out to be a
small fracture.
Jennings在星期一晚被放进入伤兵名单主因是因为中指有小骨折，而非光芒一开始所宣

OF Jason Bourgeois was called up from Triple A Durham and will be added to
the roster.

The 31-year-old has played parts of five seasons in the majors, including 93
games with Houston in 2011. He has also been with the White Sox, Brewers and
Royals, for whom he played in 30 games last year. Bourgeois was hitting .291
in 84 games for the Bulls.

Jennings sat out Sunday with the finger in a metal splint and though initial
x-rays were negative he on Monday was to see team hand specialist Dr. Doug
Carlan, and was instead diagnosed with a small fracture.

The Rays had to turn to Bourgeois because their top two outfielders at
Triple-A, Brandon Guyer and Rich Thompson, are both injured.
三A的两大顶尖外野手 Brandon Guyer 和 Rich Thompson 都已经在躺伤兵名单中
Bourgeois is a right-handed hitter and thrower, 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, who
signed a minor-league contract with the Rays during the off-season and was
with them in spring training.

Sam Fuld would seem likely to get most of the duty in centerfield while
Jennings is out, but the Rays didn't really have another option or a backup,
with Sean Rodriguez or Ben Zobrist the likely choices.

Jennings is the eighth Ray currently on the DL.

Bourgeois has to be added to the 40-man roster. The most likely move would be
to move Guyer, who was just shifted from the minor-league to major-league DL
for this reason, to the 60-day, which allows a player to be added to the
40-man roster.
Bourgeois必须要进入40人名单 最简单的移动方式就是把Guyer上放60天DL 可清出一个
空间
最後结果是Cobb被放入60天名单 但是8/15可以出来....
