Montgomery has its first batting champion in
86 years.
Biscuits infielder Omar Luna was the top hitter in the Southern League with a
.315 average,
marking the city's first title since 1926, when John Kloza hit
.380 for the Lions to win the Southeastern League crown.
Montgomery's regular-season finale was rained out, but Luna wasn't in the
lineup anyway and finished with a
.315 average.
Pensacola's Josh Fellhauer was 2-for-4 in his season finale vs. Tennessee and
had a
.314 average. Mississippi's Todd Cunningham was 0-for-4 in his season
finale at Mobile to finish with a
.309 average.
With one less hit by Luna or one more hit by Fellhauer, Fellhauer would be
the batting champ.
2A Montgomery上次有选手夺下打击王已经是1926年的事情
恭喜Luna以些微差距夺下此项殊荣（今天下雨没有出赛）
今年2A阵容并不特别出色 但却仍然打进季後赛 Luna表现具有一定的重要性
但他是？？？
其实他本来是以优异的防守SS被光芒所注意
20岁在多明尼加挖掘到的新秀
但打击并未很理想的发挥
他是一个很难被三振 出棒积极所以保送不多 但又没炮瓦的选手
所以被视为当作替补的内野手看待 在2010年快速的从A+升上3A
今年在2A 最早也是当作替补使用 但因为本季打击出色
才逐渐找到守位给他
本季2B 7场 SS 5场 3B 60场 RF 11场 LF 42场 （内外野都出赛）

最後他今年符合Rule 5的资格 不知道今年会怎样处理Luna
