There have been quite a number of trade rumors involving Rudy Gay since the
end of the Grizzlies season. The theory being that with the Grizzlies
long-term cap situation, over $60M committed in 2012-13 and 2013-14, so dire,
the team would need to move one of their highest-priced players. The
Grizzlies are reportedly looking for a top lottery pick in exchange for their
starting small forward.
灰熊在打完季後赛後，有关Rudy Gay的交易传闻从没停止散播过。不过这可是大有
原因的－灰熊在未来两年的薪资总额，至少会上看六千万美金。也因此，球队必须
移除掉其中一位太高薪的球员。另外，灰熊也希望藉由此次交易机会拿到乐透签。
According to San Francisco Chronicle:
Philadelphia's Andre Iguodala and Memphis' Rudy Gay are on the top of the
Warriors' wish list, but they're already flirting with salary-cap troubles
and have only a $3.3 million traded-player exception.
根据旧金山媒体的报导：
七六人队的Andre Iguodala与灰熊队的Gay，都是勇士队最想要的摇摆人。然而，
这两队目前都面临薪资上限的压力，最多只能提出330万的球员交易特例。
Moving Gay could free up the money Memphis needs to re-sign O.J. Mayo.
另一方面，灰熊如果动了Gay，的确可以纾解薪资压力，进而增加续签O.J. Mayo
的筹码。
Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley told the Memphis Commercial-Appeal that Gay,
who will make $16.4 million next season, is not being shopped. Still, the
Warriors, Charlotte, Toronto and Brooklyn all contacted Memphis about Gay's
availability, according to league sources.
尽管灰熊老板Michael Heisley，已经告知媒体「下季年新高达1640万美金的Gay是非卖
品」；然而，根据联盟某人士透露：勇士、山猫、暴龙、篮网这四队，仍在询问盘来
这位小前锋的可能性。
