The Rangers are likely to sign Chris Young to a multiyear deal in order to stop
him from
joining the Sacramento Kings as a backup center.
How about that for a negotiating tactic? In order to prevent Young from playing
basketball in the offseason, the Rangers apparently will give him a nice raise
over what a player entering his first full season would normally make.
