R.E.M., Radiohead, and Moby will top the bill
at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival,
a three-day concert that kicks off June 27.
Around 150,000 people are expected to attend this year's edition,
which is already sold out. Glastonbury boasts three stages
-- the main Pyramid Stage,
the Other Stage,
and the One World Stage
-- along with tents for a host of dance acts and other bands.
R.E.M. will headline the Pyramid stage Friday night (June 27),
Radiohead the following night,
and Moby on Sunday.
Other acts lined up for the main stage include David Gray,
the Flaming Lips, Supergrass, Turin Brakes, Suede, Zwan,
De La Soul, the Manic Street Preachers, and Polyphonic Spree.
Headlining the Other Stage will be Primal Scream,
Super Furry Animals, and Doves. Royksopp, Idlewild, the Coral,
Love with Arthur Lee, the Libertines, Interpol, Sigur Ros,
Dave Gahan, Grandaddy, and Damien Rice, among others, are also on that bill.
The One World Stage will feature Morcheeba,
Beth Orton, the Buena Vista Social Club, Ozomatli, Lamb,
Calexico, Yes, and the Skatalites.
Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers, the Streets,
the Roots, Blackalicious, 2 Many DJ's,
and Sain Supa Crew will be among those appearing in the Dance Tent,
while Death In Vegas, Lemon Jelly, Brendan Benson,
John Cale, Goldfrapp, Tricky, and the Warlocks will grace the New Stage.
Other acts slated for various stages or tents include Tony Allen,
the Damned, System Seven, Ozric Tentacles, James LaVelle,
Squarepusher, Nightmares On Wax, Eat Static,
String Cheese Incident, Jesse Malin, G. Love & Special Sauce,
Echo & the Bunnymen, Jimmy Cliff, Jools Holland,
Macy Gray, Sugababes, Pete Yorn, Nada Surf,
and My Morning Jacket.

This year's concert almost didn't happen,
as security concerns caused a local council to
deny the festival's promoters a license last December.
The decision was later overturned.
