Roger对媒体这般阵仗感到震惊又生气,他的好朋友在最後的时日只希望过得宁静有尊严, 为甚麽这点基本要求都不给? 於是他写了这首歌"Dear Mr. Murdoch","亲爱的梅铎先生",找当时"太阳报","世界新闻报" ,的大老板梅铎开刀! 个人觉得这是Roger Taylor非常掷地有声的作品,歌曲听起来平和冷静,歌词乍看好像是写 信,其实文字内容尖酸刻薄,语带双关充满讽刺. 这首歌最初在1994年发行,不过这位靠八卦小报起家的老板事业越做越大,1998年还想涉入 足球行业,购买联曼球队,所以Roger在1998年再度重发这首歌,并捐款参加反对运动;2011年 梅铎的世界新闻报涉及窃听案哄然一时,Roger将歌词精简後,以单曲方式再再度发行.
