标题[问题] assert() in extensions for CPython

前阵子将手边一个C code的project改写成Python C module，
但改用distutils来做build之後不知为啥原本C code里面的assert()
全部失效，distutils.core.Extension里面user可以设的compiler flag
也跟原本都一样。
请问有人也有遇过类似的状况吗？assert()失效真的是很~~~恐怖的事情.......><
