We conduct psychophysical/behavioral research primarily in the area of sensory perception. The position involves all stages of the research process from planning experiments, preparing documents for the ethics review board, data collection and analysis, lab maintenance and organization, to helping to write up results. This position is perfect for candidates who consider to pursue a graduate degree. Qualifications: BA/BS or above. A major in Psychology or related field would be plus, but is not necessary. Previous research experience and experience in programming in Matlab or C are highly recommended. Working knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems is required. General knowledge of visual perception, cognition or neuroscience is desirable. Outstanding organizational and communication skills are essential.
