标题写一个网页可以让使用者选档案

很多网页如flickr 的upload网页 都可以让使用者选择档案上传
请问这种网页是靠什可以连到档案总管的阿 其实我从os 读到这个档案的path
Javascript有办法有这样的功能吗? 有写好的物件或范例吗...
(sorry 新手请大师们多多指导)
