Pistons guard Allen Iverson will miss the next two weeks at the request of
Georgetown University doctors because of a sore back.

Iverson, who has missed the past three games, was evaluated today at
Georgetown after an initial MRI exam last week revealed no structural damage.
上周照完初步的MRI，很庆幸今天接受评估後认为这次的伤并没有造成结构性伤害。

He won't travel with the team to try to prevent stress on his back and will
be re-evaluated by Georgetown doctors after two weeks.

Iverson will begin treatment for his back after he returns to Detroit today.
The Pistons want him to be completely at ease when he returns.

“We want him to be totally comfortable with how he feels as we would with
all our guys,” coach Michael Curry said before Tuesday's victory against the
Denver Nuggets.

Iverson, who is averaging 18 points per game, has not played since leaving
the floor after eight minutes in the Pistons' Feb. 25 loss at New Orleans.
Rip Hamilton has averaged 25.7 points in the three victories since replacing
Iverson in the starting lineup. Hamilton was named the starter last Thursday,
before it was announced Iverson would miss time.

The two-week timetable has Iverson missing another eight games, with a
possible return for a home game against the Los Angeles Clippers on March 20.
既然行事历上排定接下来两周要好好养伤，也就表示AI将持续缺席接下来的八场比赛。
照推算，他应该会在3/20主场迎战来访的快艇时归队。
