NEW ORLEANS -- Rip Hamilton is trying to be the good soldier.
RIP不断地尝试成为阵中优秀的士兵。
He became the sixth man -- although he opposed it -- because he was told it
would help the team.
他愿意从板凳出发扮演第六人的角色。
虽然他不喜欢，但他认为若这麽做对团队有帮助的话，他愿意接受这样的安排。
But after the Pistons fell to 4-12 with him coming off the bench after
Wednesday night's 90-87 loss to the Hornets, he let everyone know that he
doesn't think it's working.
但在他转换跑到自板凳出发後，加上周三晚上输给黄蜂的比赛後，战绩是4胜12败。

"The way we've been starting, is the way (Pistons coach Michael Curry) wants
it," said Hamilton, who scored 24 points. "I've said I'm happy to come off
the bench as long as we're winning. But we're losing.

And Wednesday night's performance favored his argument.

Allen Iverson, who likely would go to the bench if Hamilton were to return to
the starting lineup, left with a stiff back 8 minutes into Wednesday's game
and didn't return.

The Pistons were trailing, 20-11.

ball from side to side and not standing around watching Iverson probe the
defense.

"When he's out, everybody has to pick up their game another notch," Tayshaun
Prince said. "You know for the guys that have been here, the things we do
best is move the ball quickly and we feed off each other. And that's what
works in our favor. That's why things were working well for us."

Although the Pistons lost, they played with a looseness and joy that hasn't
been seen in weeks.

相较於近几周动不动就被打爆的表现而言，即使输掉了这场比赛
但看见团队的效率有显着的进步，难道不是件值得高兴的事情吗 XD
IVERSON DAY-TO-DAY
Iverson is questionable for Friday night's game against the Magic.
周五对上魔术的比赛，AI能否上场还是个问号。
He suffered a strained back in Tuesday night's loss at Miami, but he was able
to start Wednesday night.
在周二晚上对热火的比赛时，他就感觉到背部有些酸痛。
但周三的比赛AI仍出现在活塞的先发阵容。
But after two points on 1-for-4 shooting, he went to the bench and was done
for the evening.
但在投4中1，拿下两分後。 他盖上休息卡，结束这回合。
