蹲下是为了跳的更高，活塞准备起飞!! (其实翻完才发现跟上篇大多雷同，请见谅。)

Michael Curry admits the bar is high for the Pistons.
咖哩承认活塞目前的战绩确实不如大家所期待那样。
The problem is the team is performing like a 6-foot high jumper who is
attempting to clear 7 feet.
这问题就像是一个6尺的跳高选手却试图挑战7尺高。
That might be a slight exaggeration but the Pistons (24-19) haven’t had much
spring in their heels of late.
这听起来也许很夸张，但没错。已经快结束春季了。而我们的战绩却只有24胜19败。
They are 2-7 in their past nine games.
哭哭，近九场只赢了两场。 (倒数第十场赢金块没有被算进去...)
More than that, they’ve appeared disinterested on the floor and on the bench.

Coach Curry has looked at times like a deer caught in the headlights.

Lau. “Criticism has been part of my career the whole time.”

with you, which, of course, isn’t always fair.

The cyber snipers are having a field day with Curry, some calling for his
firing.

Curry remains convinced — in public, that is — that the Pistons' bad form
is temporary, and so does center Rasheed Wallace.

“I think we have it in us,” Wallace said. “And I think we believe we have
it in us.”

They might yet, but they’d better get it together soon.

The Pistons play the Timberwolves, who thrashed them 106-80 at the Palace on
Nov. 23.
今晚前往明尼苏达踢馆也许会是个好的起点。日前才被灰狼以106-80痛宰。
If the Pistons are going to turn this season around, beating Minnesota would
be a good start.
如果活塞想开始转运，拿灰狼开刀会是个好的开始。
The Offbeat can see it now ... Curry regains the look of a man in control.
Allen Iverson, Rip Hamilton and Wallace have big games. The team clears the
height.

“The reality is, at the end of the day, you want to be winning and have a
chance to compete for a title,” said Curry of the cyber sniping leveled at
him. “Anything short of that and there’s going to be criticism. Like I said
before, that means we’ve raised the bar extremely high here in Detroit, and
that’s great.”
咖哩对於乡民的干谯说「现实中，每天晚上，你想要的是胜利！是为了冠军打拼！」
「而只要没有做到，干谯就会接踵而来。」
「我们过去至今总是做得很棒，理所当然球迷要求的标竿会越来越高。这是好事。」
