What is barangay?
barangay is the smallest unit of government in the Philippines.
its is headed b a barangay chairman and councilors
Barangay was taken from the word balangay (boat). the concept of living
together with harmony in a small place.
As in a boat barangay shoud be apolitical; leaning in one side can cause to
boat o capsize.
规模对照起来应该跟"村"比较接近,
通常每个BARANGAY都有一个BARANGAY HALL用来聚会用.
比较热情的BARANGAY会在进入该处的主要通道设置欢迎牌(牌坊?), 很好辨认.
