Dr. Da Yan from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is looking for PhD students interested in doing Big Data research. The students will be fully supported as research assistants. He frequently publishes papers in first-tier conferences such as SIGMOD, KDD, ICDE and WWW, and first-tier journals such as PVLDB and TKDE. The systems he developed are also actively used by people in both the academia and the industry.
