1973年5月母亲节，美国男网界一代名将Bobby Riggs (1918-1975)在加州的Ramona
以6-2, 6-1击败当时的球后Margaret Smith-Court。赛後他得意向所有职业女网选手
下战书，一向以支持女性运动闻名的Billie-Jean King (1943-)接受了他的挑战，於
是就产了後来那场着名的「性别大战」(Battle of the Sexes)
1973年9月20日两人对决，地点是MLB Houston Astros的主场地Astrosdome，ABC
直播。Billie-Jean King在全场30,472名与全球超过5000万观众面前以6-4, 6-3, 6-3
直落三击败Bobby Riggs。
照漫画的内容看来，一向大女人主义的Lucy应该是对Bobby Riggs击败Court很不
爽吧 XD
