Walters: ‘There will be a sign and trade’
Amare Stoudemire’s agent Happy Walters tweeted tonight news Phoenix Suns fans
have been waiting to hear.
OK, so
it doesn’t involve David Lee, but it’s good news nonetheless:
“There will be a sign and trade with NY. Will give youall more cap space.

If Amare’s agent is to be believed,
that means the Suns will at least be
getting an asset in return for Amare in the form of a $17 million trade
exception, an asset that could become valuable since the Suns are so far
below the luxury tax line they can afford to take on salary if owner Robert
Sarver will allow it.
I’m sure we will find out more on this front tomorrow.
