Suns, Diaw reach deal
Forward agrees to five-year contract extension
Suns forward Boris Diaw has agreed to a five-year contract extension worth
approximately $45 million, a source close to the team confirmed.
The deal will be announced Friday and kick in for the 2007-08 season.
Diaw was the NBA's Most Improved Player last season and would have become a
restricted free agent after the upcoming season if he did not sign an
agreement by Oct. 31.
