标题[请益] PHP pecl extension安装失败

PHP版本：appserv-win32-2.5.8
作业系统：Windows XP SP2
问题描述：
我是根据php.net的说明去安装 pecl extension
http://tw.php.net/manual/en/install.pecl.pear.php
不过安装过程中发生了点问题，当我执行完 'pecl install geoip'
这个指令後，最底下的一行出现的这样的讯息
'ERROR: The DSP geoip.dsp does not exist.'

之前在Google有查到类似的问题，不过似乎没有解决
