As a leader, I really try to set the best example I possibly can. Coming each day, be professional, work real hard. Doing the right thing, giving my best, that is really all I can do. It has certainly been a big blow not to have Jermaine, and also not to have Jamaal Tinsley for the second half of the season. But this is the hand we've been dealt and we need to make the most of it. I hope to, as I said, learn a lot from this experience and make myself and my team a better player in the future. Again, all I care about right now is getting us to the postseason, which would be quite an accomplishment, considering all we've been through lately. Coach puts more balls in my hands and gives me a chance to do some stuff. I am grateful for that, and I am trying to make it work out for him and for our team. I think he is my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. He's always around to offer help, to give me advice. He's done that all throughout my career, and I really appreciate that. We've been very unfortunate with the injuries this year. But we hung in there and I think it is a reward for us to play for the playoffs this late in the season. Hopefully, we can do that. MD: 你也知道的，凡事天注定。我们很不幸的今年有这麽多伤病，但我们撑过来了 ，而我认为打季後赛对我们是一种奖赏。希望我们能做到。 What kind of experience would possible playing against Boston in the first round of the playoffs bring to this team? 你觉得在季後赛第一轮和波士顿碰头，会带给这只球队怎样的经验？ MD: I think it is a great experience just to get there, to play them in an elimination round, when anything can happen. MD: 这是个不错的城市。我很享受这儿的生活。我们有不错的球迷群众。人们喜欢 篮球，而我身为一个 Pacer 感到非常的快乐。 Nebojsa Petrovacki is the editor of Sportska Centrala, a sports news agency from Serbia 小邓的简短访谈,就球员而言,当然是很难说出 "我们要 Tank!!" 这种话 即使是 Tank 明显的热火大概也不会这麽说,不过还真是搞不清楚这只球队 现在目标放在哪儿... 以目前的溜马阵容而言, Dunleavy 显然是在 O'Brien 的系统中受益最多的球员 现在的表现也渐渐打出当初选秀第三顺位的身价出来 比较麻烦的是 Granger 和 Dunleavy 最适合的位置都是 SF 两个人打 SG 都有一点小问题, Granger 的运球还需要加强, Dunleavy 稍微慢了点 以至於本季我们把阵容中火力最强的双枪都放在场上时,阵容就很难调整 不是把 Granger 拉去打 SG,就是 Granger+Dunleavy 双F,不够小的"一大四小" 而 SF 位置上甚至还有一个首轮新秀 Shawne Williams... 现在讲为时已晚,但是 '06 年在 Granger 已经打出来的情形下 实在不该选个同样位置的新秀,互相挤压发展空间 '06 年 的 PG 几乎都落在 17 顺位以後, Rajon Rondo, Marcus Williams Kyle Lowry, Jordan Farmar, Sergio Rodriguez... 现在有点记不太清楚,也许当年的选秀策略是选天份,而不是选位置 '05 年选来 Granger 也是看当时能选的球员中天份最高者 今年的情况应该就比较明朗,阵容上明显需要一个後场 不然就像今年一样,签来的 FA 作当家 PG,也太悲惨了点 而选秀顺位上,除非前几名球队有出人意表之举,应该还有好的後场可选 希望今年选秀能有好结果~ --
