还记得整个溜马农场养成史中，最备受期待的Jonathan Bender吗?
虽然他的短暂NBA生涯画下等号，但他对於飓风灾区的奉献更人感动。
不论是灾区耶诞节礼物、帮助当地学校的图书馆修缮工作、免费篮球训练营等，
都是他退休之後致力於的义举。
甚至於他还聘请影片公司拍摄名为："Brand New Orleans"的纪录片。
Jonathan Bender, from nearby Picayune, is doing well even after his NBA
career was cut short. He is making a full-time job out of Hurricane Katrina
recovery in this area. Christmas present programs, helping a school refurbish
their moldy library, reading stories to kids, running free basketball camps
... he's putting his time and his treasure to work for this region. Bender
has been buying damaged properties, hiring contractors to fix them up, and
then renting them out. It's amazing how uplifting it is to see houses getting
fixed up on blocks where everything is abandoned. He invited us on a trip to
see some of his nearby projects, but time was tight. We might get to see it
anyway, however -- Bender recently hired a production company to make a pilot
of a reality show about such things called Brand New Orleans.
JB，I miss you!!! 印象中的他真的是乖乖牌的好孩子，
受教但听从教练的安排，无奈病痛史让他原本该大放异彩的生涯结束。
