Reggie Miller, the 42-year-old former Pacer who has been approached by the
Celtics to return from his two-year retirement, is putting himself through a
tough workout routine to determine whether he can still withstand the NBA
grind.
Reggie Miller，这个42岁的溜马退休老将，绿血人总管为了再增加一名超级赛尔人，於
是与神米接触。於是他开始了艰辛的例行训练，以测试自己是否还能承受NBA的强度。
Miller told ESPN’s Dan Patrick yesterday that he still hasn’t made up
his mind.
神米昨天跟ESPN的Dan Patrick说，他仍在犹豫。
“I have no idea what I’m going to do,” he said on Patrick’s ESPN
radio show. “I’m working out twice a day. It would be irresponsible of me
not to go full bore now to see what I can do. I’ll make a decision soon.
在Patrick的espn电台节目上，他说：「我现在还没有打定主意，我每天训练两次。如果
我不竭尽全力去试试看我能做到什麽程度，那是对我自己不负责。我很快会做出决定。」
“Six or seven days ago I started two-a-days, and I probably have 10 days
left of that,” he said. “By the middle of September I should have an answer.
”
「大概6、7天前我开始这个训练，我大概还要再十多天，九月中会有答案的。」
Miller said he was “shocked” when Danny Ainge initially called his
former agent, Arn Tellem, in an attempt to lure the shooting guard out of
retirement.
一开始Danny Ainge找上他的前经纪人，Arn Tellem，尝试着引诱这个得分後卫复出，神
米说这着实吓到他了。
“We had a conversation about his team and the roster,” said Miller. “
But it was to talk about supporting roles, because they had to mortgage the
farm to bring in who they have.
「我们有谈过队伍跟阵容的问题。」神米说。「不过我们谈的是替补，因为他们已经藉由
交易找到他们要的得分後卫了。」
“It will be interesting,” he said. “To come back with a team like
Orlando, or a team that was middle of the road would be one thing. But this
team won the lottery when they got Kevin Garnett.
「这将很令人感兴趣。在像Orlando，或者其他走中间路线的球队中复出是一回事。但这
球队从他们得到Kevin Garnett的那一瞬间，就等於中了头彩。」
“They’ve given me as much time as I need to shock my body and see where
I am.”
「他们给我足够的时间，让我尝试着冲击自己的身体，看看我的程度还能到哪里。」
