TUESDAY, MAY 8, 2007 Season In Review: Danny Granger http://www.nba.com/pacers/news/0607_review_granger.html 赛季回顾：小葛 Editor's Note: This is one in a series of articles analyzing the performance of the Pacers' players during the 2006-07 season as well as their prospects for 2007-08. 2006-07 REVIEW: Granger's second season was like two seasons. He opened the year in the anticipated role of sixth man, averaging 11.9 points in 38 games prior to the trade. Thrust into the starting lineup at small forward after the deal, Granger averaged 15.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 44 games, including 42 starts. At times, the accelerated role seemed too fast for Granger, who struggled at times with the added responsibility of not only serving as a major scoring option but a front-line defender against opposing small forwards and shooting guards. An emerging scorer, Granger has worked hard on his perimeter game and improved from 32.3 percent as a rookie to 38.2 percent from the 3-point line, complementing a nice mid-range game. Granger became more active as a penetrator in the final phases of the season as he gained confidence in his driving ability, showing strong two-dribble moves and the capacity for finishing in a crowd. A capable passer, he needs to increase his assist numbers, as well. Though Granger gained confidence in his jump shot, he often was too willing to settle for the first perimeter opportunity and needs to develop a better sense of shot selection.
