标题[北美] OPT STEM Extension 等待期拿到新的offer怎麽办?

11/17/2010 收到OPT STEM Extension Filing的收据
12/23/10 第一年的OPT EAD卡过期
目前还在原本的旧公司工作, 依照下面这条规定
If their post-completion OPT expires while the 17-month extension
application is pending, students who timely filed their STEM extension
applications with USCIS will receive an extension of employment
authorization after their current employment authorization expires,
but for no more than 180 days.
1/20/11 收到新公司的offer, 需要填I-9表格, 表格上说明
If an employee is unable to present a required document, the employee must
present an acceptable receipt in lieu of a document listed on the last page
of this firm. Receipts showing that a person has applied for an initial grant
of employment authorization, or for renewal of employment authorization,
are not acceptable.
但是我没有收到任何有关这extension of employment authorization的通知,
网路上查询我的case还只是在Initial Review, 请问这时候我该怎麽办?
2/7/11 是我在新公司的First Day, 目前想到几种情形
1. 打电话去USCIS问, 在等待我新的STEM EAD的同时,
extension of my current EAD card要如何取得?
2. STEM EAD等待期到今天已经过70天, 跟HR顺延我的上班日期到三月,
希望之前能拿到新的EAD?
3. 或是在I-9上直接填上旧的EAD卡号, 把expired date自动加上180天?
ex 12/23/10 + 180天 = 6/23/11?
