The two teams that I heard are serious are the Magic and Blazers. A week
after the draft Chris Paul was nearly dealt to Portland but Hornets backed
out last minute. On or around draft day Chris Paul rumors surfaced of
Nelson/Carter for Chris Paul and failure to find a 3rd team for Okafor's
contract killed the trade. Otis said he would only pull the trigger on that
trade if Lebron went to Miami... well.... DO IT OTIS. Okafors contract is
worth it if it means bringing in Paul. If we did this trade we would
currently lose our starting SG and if we dont match redick then well we would
lose depth there. Im still guessing there is like a 10 percent chance of this
trade happening. Maybe Otis matches Redick, makes the trade for Chris Paul,
slides Richardson to starting SG with redick as backup. Make Lewis starting
SF and Okafor as starting PF.
Paul/Duhon
Richardson/Redick
Lewis/Pietrus
Okafor/Bass/Anderson
Howard/Gortat/Orton
After this trade you would do another trade that involves Gortat and Pietrus
so you can get a better quality starting SG and move richardson to backup
Lewis.
