Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy less forgiving of mistakes as regular season nears
例行赛将近，魔术教练Stan Van Gundy不会再轻易原谅犯错
With just two more exhibition games remaining, the Orlando Magic are
expecting to look much closer at how they'll look when the regular season
begins.
只剩两场热身赛了，魔术被期待能以怎摸样的姿态开始例行赛。
Mistakes that might have been OK in the early part of the exhibition slate
aren't anymore.

"It's not any one specific thing," Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We'd
like to see improvement in what we do at both ends of the court. Certainly
taking care of the ball better, not turn over the ball as much."

Eliminating turnovers has been a major focus of Van Gundy's workouts the past
few days.

guard Vince Carter said. "Now we're trying to fine-tune things for the
beginning of the season so we're trying to cut that out."

Dwight Howard's travels this offseason took him all over the world and during
one of his stops, Bulls guard Derrick Rose accompanied him.

The pair went to China as part of an adidas tour.

Almost three years older than Rose, who turned 21 earlier this month, Howard
said he enjoyed watching Rose experience a trip abroad.

"I just wanted Derrick to get a feel for what it's like to go overseas and
see the millions of fans who support NBA basketball," Howard said. "I think
it was great for him. You know, he expanded on his fan base. I think he did
an excellent job over there and I'm real happy for him. I think he's going to
have another good season.
“我想让Rose体验一下出国的感觉，并看看有数以百万计的球迷支持着NBA。”魔兽说“

‧The NBA tweaked its traveling rule so players can now take two steps with
the ball before stopping to shoot. Carter, who said he hadn't heard the rule,
smiled when told of it. "So it's going to the European style? I can handle
that."

‧Van Gundy said he assumes he will start PF Brandon Bass along with Howard,

Foyle's knee, which he hurt during the offseason, took a step back, he said.

‧While Van Gundy doesn't plan to start Rashard Lewis the rest of the
preseason, he will not designate days off for players as he did early in the
exhibition schedule.

‧The Magic return home and will face Indiana on Wednesday and Atlanta on
Friday, both at Amway Arena, to finish their preseason schedule.
