Other than the 2-for-1 they picked up in 2004 -- Dwight Howard and Jameer
Nelson --- the Magic have not had a memorable record in drafting since the
year 2000.
除了在2004年的选秀会上选了D.Howard与J.Nelson之外，魔术队从2000年以来的选秀

Maybe 2008's choice, shooting guard Courtney Lee, will change their luck.

2000 was the year the Magic selected Florida's Mike Miller --- a nice shooter
who's had a decent NBA career --- with their top pick.

They took him because he likes to play defense, and can shoot the 3. Heaven
knows the Magic need some defensive help in the backcourt.

Lee looked cool and impressive in summer league after the opening game, even
while guarding Kevin Durant. Then again, Redick had his summer-league moments
as well.

Lee, 6-5, will have to find a way to distinguish himself among a gaggle of
shooting guards that includes the newly acquired Mickael Pietrus, Keith
Bogans and Redick. Playing defense will be his ticket.

The Magic are quietly optimistic. If Lee does make noise, look for the Magic
