FRIDAY, 6:10am: Connolly believes reliever Armando Gabino, a Rule 5 pick from
the Twins, is most likely to be designated for assignment to
make room for Hendrickson.
THURSDAY, 10:42am: The Orioles reached an agreement to bring lefty Mark
Hendrickson back on a one-year, $1.4MM deal, reports Dan
Connolly of the Baltimore Sun. The deal pays $1.2MM in 2010
and includes a $1.2MM club option for 2011 with a $200K
buyout. The 35-year-old will take on a relief role in 2010,
though the contract contains bonuses for games started. The
Orioles will have to make room on the 40-man roster for
Hendrickson once he passes his physical.
As a reliever in 2009, Hendrickson posted a 3.44 ERA, 6.1 K/9, and 2.3 BB/9 in
55 innings.

必须要清出空间,预估会被DFA的是从Rule 5 pick捡来的Armando Gabino
